Binic Eco Flap Disc 115mm P80 is a coarse abrasive flap disc designed for use with compatible angle grinders and suitable grinding, stock removal and surface preparation applications. The 115mm diameter makes it suitable for compatible smaller angle grinders, while the P80 grit provides an aggressive abrasive grade for removing material and preparing metal surfaces.

The overlapping abrasive flaps provide a combination of grinding and finishing action, making the disc useful for removing rust, paint, burrs and surface imperfections while also helping to smooth and blend metal surfaces. The P80 grade is particularly suitable for earlier stages of surface preparation before moving to finer abrasives.

Common Applications

Binic Eco 115mm P80 Flap Discs can be used for heavy surface preparation, metal grinding, rust removal, paint removal, weld preparation, deburring, edge blending and general fabrication work.

The P80 grit is particularly useful where more aggressive material removal is required before progressing to finer sanding or finishing grades. Flap discs are also useful for blending welds and smoothing rough metal surfaces while providing more controlled finishing than some conventional grinding applications.

Always ensure the disc is compatible with the 115mm angle grinder, spindle arrangement and maximum operating speed. Use the correct grinder guard and suitable PPE, including eye and face protection, gloves and hearing protection where appropriate.
